Chrismukkah or Hanumas?

Hanukkah Howie vs. Santa Claus is a picture book idea by David Michael Slater that is currently funding on the Inkshares website. You can find the project page here. Please do take a look to see what it is all about.

Of course, I'm doing the illustrating, tea-boy duties, swim suit modelling and squirrel counting. I think that's what the contract said. Actually, I'm not sure about the illustrating but so long as I am fed biscuits, I'm up to it. Grrrrr!

As a follow-on from my last non-obsessive blog here is another with some freshly grown pictures.

It's been a while...

It's a about time really! What is the point of having a blog if you don't blog? So here is a blog post to prove that I do blog but that I am not an obsessive serial blogger. That's good then. No visits to the nut inspector for me. I'm sane but lazy. That established, lets look at a picture.

Does my bum look big in this?

I've changed my website again but this time it fits. Go on, take a look. It was put together by me and a nice chap called Neal. Try moving the pointer over the words on the signpost, I love that bit! Anyhow, the site has my work on it and ways of contacting me... well you know the score... unless you don't have the internet... wait, so how are you reading this? Are you the one with a nut job friend that prints out the internet and sends it to you by post? That is the slowest connection ever!!

Yes, back again already. Why??? ...you ask. Well, the last time I was here I thought I saw some cake. Ummmm... can't see it. Oh well.
There are a few more bits on my site so take a look. I won't tell you what or where. You will have to find them. On your own. I want no tears if you find it difficult.

I dun sum pictures and sum words

As I listen to the noise of a light November shower attempting to smash the roof tiles on my house, my summer tan of a cyan hue dissolves back to semi-transparent.I'm sure you would like photographs but I shun this media for the imposter that it is. Why take a photo when you can draw it? Photography may be quicker and easier but...   ...    ..anyway. I have recently updated my website so pokey pokey here to have a look. There is the odd new piece in there and there will be more soon.
As the title suggests, I have done some pictures and some words. This translated roughly means that I am working on my first author illustrated picture book that will be published with Parragon. I'm probably supposed to keep the details secret but I'll mention this much; its a book and it will definitely... definitely have pictures in it... oh, and words... on pages and probably even a cover. There, that's let the rather desperate kitty out of an ever-so flimsy bag. Have fun.
